There is mixed reaction about RBI Grade B Officers exam which was conducted on 11th October 2009. I found the syllabus of RBI's QA paper was totally different and inspired from SBI Manager Grade-II exam which was held recently. I think they must change this QA paper to DI, as the standard and question of Paper was similar to that of CAT DI.
Many of Question Like last two questions were similar to SBI paper without a single change, you may remember the last question if attended which was on Rice and Wheat prices. it was the same question in SBI exam.
I think if everyone make a group and share their different exam question of banks, then I assure you there are fair chances of cracking the jobs.
In My view the Cut-off for this section will go low i.e. about 13-18
If you have attended half of the question in QA without any negative marks than you will crack this section.
English was the easiest section I ever seen in any banking exam. It was very easy and I think candidate will score higher marks in section. The cut-off for this section will go Up near to some 17-22.
Reasoning was similar to other banks exam, moderate and traditional paper cut-off would be near to 32-37
Overall it was moderate paper and people were in regular practice would crack the first round. The real exam starts from the second round when you will have to face the theoretical question from the diverse field.

kindly specify more in QA cutoff as paper was tough and so gap of cutoff marks for the same is 5(because 18-13=5).
ReplyDeletei have attempted 35 in GA, 35 in Enlish, 20 in Maths and 60 in Reasoning. i am feeling to get 30 in GA., 32 in English, around 14-15 in QA and 50 in reasoning. Is there any chance to qualify for the phase-II? Besides, mentioning the cut-off marks, kindly mention the overall cut off marks. Kinldy mention that if any body get 105 marks overall then what are the chances?
How does it possible, suppose out of 35 , u r saying u will get 30, what about the number of question wrong and deduction of their marks.....i.e. 35-5-(5*0.25)....that will be ur actual considered marks
ReplyDeleteok, i am giving the particular information.
ReplyDeletesubject attempted wrong answers right answers marks
GA 35 5 30 46
QA 20 4 16 11.25
ENGLISH 35 4 31 22.50
REASONING 60 6 54 39.38
---- ---- ----- -------
150 19 131 119.13
This is what i think about my performance in the exam. I have tried to solve with utomst accuracy. In maths i was little bit confused so i could attend less no. of question. In GA i have done guessing work in 4 question only. I think that all this answers will be wrong. i have attended 31 question with accuracy as i was knowing the answers.Reasoning is my strong point and i have attempted all ths question with 100% accuracy but i have attempted statement-argument and statement-conclusion question which i think may be wrong. English was good.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteWhen would the results be out?
Our class supervisor has taken the call letters and did not return, is this the rule?
Incase i clear in this exam, will I get new call letter from RBI?
Please answer.
No Chitra You will only get duplicate call letter from RBI once you clear the prelims, only after a separate request. There will be separate call letter for successful candidates of prelims for mains. According to rule the first half section of call letter had to submitted to instructor during exam itself.
ReplyDeleteNeed Not to worry about this ?
Hi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for such a quick response.
You mean to say the supervisor should have given me the bottom slip from the call letter. Now if I dont possess it will there be any problem. Incase I clear this phase I objective exam, RBI will send me new call letter, or should I request for it.
FYI... My exam was not that good, since this was my first attempt for any competative exams. I was unaware about some rules, like i) no calculator would be allowed, ii) we were not allowed to go back to already attempted papers, iii) I was very slow in attempting and there was no warning bell before 5 minutes etc.
I am keeping my fingers cross!
Thanks.

For clearing RBI You need to clear all the individual section.....If you have not scored well in all the section evenly, Don't expect the result...
